In this session, Mike Clements offers a practical, real-world guide to using AI in fundraising, grounded in his extensive experience building prospect development and analytics functions at UTHealth Houston.

About Our Speaker

Mike Clements is Senior Director of Prospect Development and Analytics at UTHealth Houston, a position he has held since 2014.  In his time at UTHealth Houston, Mike has built the prospect research, portfolio management, and analytics functions from the ground up and supported the university’s successful Many Faces. One Mission. Campaign.  His team has won multiple awards, including the University of Texas Chancellor’s Excellence Award for Advancement Services.  He also serves on the university’s Artificial Intelligence Task Force and co-chairs the Partnerships Subcommittee, which was formed to help deepen and expand the university’s strategic partnerships that advance AI use and adoption.  Prior to his role at UTH, Mike spent eight years at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston in various development roles and several years prior to that in the energy industry.  A graduate of Purdue University, Mike enjoys the outdoors, coaching baseball, and spending time with his wife and two kids.
